The Team at Picton Dental Centre
Karlyn started working at Picton Dental Centre as a Sterilization Technician in 2019. She graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa in 2012. Karlyn is originally from Ottawa, but Prince Edward County locals recognize her from The Lunch Box, where she continues to work since the opening in 2014. Outside of work, you can find Karlyn decorating cookies and cakes under Karlyn’s Cookies or spending time with her fiance Matt and their german shepherd Marceline.
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Krista Lambert is a Registered Dental Hygienist and strives to provide optimal oral care for all her patients. A very busy mother of three, Krista spends most of her time taking her kids to sporting events and taking care of the household while her husband runs the family dairy farm. Krista has many years of dental experience. She started her career as a Dental Assistant in 1997 and returned to College in 2007 for Dental Hygiene. She graduated at the top of her class and was awarded the distinguished Valedictorian award, which she is very proud of, all while raising a young family. Krista is dedicated to her patients and loves being part of such a great group of dental professionals at Picton Dental Centre.

Tanya has been in the dental profession for 21 years, first as a dental assistant which allowed her to learn many specialties of dentistry and even took her to Bermuda for 6 years. Tanya returned to Canada in 2009 and decided then to follow her dreams of becoming a dental hygienist. She is fairly new to the County and when not venturing by car or bicycle, Tanya likes to play clarinet and spend time with her cat, Oliver. Since settling and finding a home in PEC, Tanya has also enjoyed curling and volunteering with the local Girl Guide group.
As a graduate from Trillium College in Kingston with her dental assisting degree, Heather is the newest dental assistant to our team. She was born and raised in beautiful Prince Edward County and loves being able to give back to her community. In her free time she enjoys playing baseball, spending time at the beach, adding to her scrapbook and spending time with family, friends and her 9 year old son. Her favourite aspect about working in dentistry is seeing the improvement in the health of her patients.
Sydney is a recent high school graduate taking a gap year. She will be attending McMaster University in the Fall of 2021 for Social Sciences. Sydney’s family has been living in Prince Edward County for generations now. When not busy at work ensuring everyone’s health and safety, you can find Sydney spending time with family and friends and her beautiful collie/border collie mix named Edgar.
